Tsutsuishi Station
Tsutsuishi Station (筒石駅, Tsutsuishi-eki?) is a train station in Itoigawa, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.

The platforms are in Kubiki Tunnel (length = 11,353m), below 40m from ground. It connects with its entrance gate by 280-290 steps.
History
- December 16, 1912 - Tsutsuishi Station was opened. Japanese Government Railways (JGR, JNR after 1949) built this station in resident area around a fishery harbor.
- October 1, 1969 - New Tsutsuishi Station was opened. Japanese National Railways (JNR) began to serve new line in Itoigawa - Naoestu, electrified and double-tracked, and quit old line on shore of the Japan Sea.
- April 1, 1987 - With the privatization of JNR, JR West took over the management of this station.
